Resizing movie control flashes

Hello listas,

I have a live resizing window (metal+compositing) with a movie control in it. The control occupies a proportional part of the window (not the entire window).
In my event handler I do:

case kEventWindowBoundsChanged: // Get current bounds


error = GetEventParameter( eventRef, kEventParamAttributes, typeUInt32,
nil, sizeof( typeUInt32), nil, &eventParamAttr );


if ( eventParamAttr & kWindowBoundsChangeUserResize )
{
SetControlBounds( movieControl, &newMovieControlBounds );
}

This flashes badly during resize.
How can I prevent the flashing?
