Seems like a logical progression and would give me the flexibility I

Well, the other option, of course, is to avoid HIThemeDrawTextBox and
just use ATSUI directly.
Hmm, yes, I could do that. Not sure why I didn't mention that. Probably
because it was late and I was tired :)
Other than the fact that it's not as nearly convenient as
HIThemeDrawTextBox and all it's wonderful goodness, that'll work just
fine. I still think I'll go ahead and put in a radar for
kThemeCurrentContextFont as it would be a huge convenience and make the
migration away from the deprecated QuickDraw all that easier ;)

(Though why the Pascal to C and vice-versa APIs are deprecated is a
mystery to me... they aren't really part of QuickDraw and there are a
lot of apps that manipulate historical data in those two formats. Back
to the old days of everyone rolling their own I guess. <shrug>)
