I need to turn off the print preview and save as PDF (and print
workflow) buttons in the print dialog. Does anybody know how this can
be done?

It appears that those buttons are available only when the PMSessionSetDocumentFormatGeneration is set to kPMDocumentFormatDefault or kPMDocumentFormatPDF. If you could use kPMDocumentFormatPICT, kPMDocumentFormatPICTPS, kPMDocumentFormatPostScript, then the buttons would go away.

I'm pretty sure you won't find that comment helpful in your particular case, but there you go.
