errno and Carbon APIs

I noticed that FSRenameUnicode sets errno to ENOENT even though it succeeds. I am not familiar enough with Unix custom to know whether this should be considered a bug. Is it considered OK for a function to change errno without being documented as changing errno? -- James W.
