Identifying volume kind (SMB, AFP...)

Hi,

First, thank you so much for previous help about URL/Alias problem, it is very appreciated.

So now, I am trying to know if a volume is SMB or not. I am using PBGetVolMountInfoSize and PBGetVolMountInfo to get the media type, and when the media type is 'cifs', I assume that the volume is SMB.

1- Is it a reliable way to know if volume is SMB?
2- PBGetVolMountInfoSize always return error -50 when the volume is local. Is it normal? Can I assume that volume is not SMB when I get this error?

Thanks!
