Also, regarding the sample code, I also found it helpful to look at the raw
list of samples from the Developer DVD:

    /Volumes/Dev.DVD\ Jan\ 05/ADC\ Reference\ Library/samplecode

I don't think there is a way to see that raw list of folders from the apple
website.  (If there is, it would be useful though, because having the DVD in
all day is a nuisance.)

Without looking at the raw list of samples, I don't know how I would have
stumbled upon:

    CarbonInCocoa
    CocoaInCarbon
