2nd attempt - packaged app problems

Hi.

I recently converted my carbon app from a single file to a package and most
everything is working fine except for one problem;  when its document files are
dbl clicked in the Finder a way-older version of the app is getting launched and
given the open doc apple event.  This seems particularly odd since there are
some very recent pre-package versions kicking around on my HD.  Anyone have any
clues, suggestions or pointers to documentation regarding this?
