Thanks for the suggestion but, no, it happens on other machines. There's
something wrong with the package. I've also noticed that when cycling calls to
GetNextProcess() and GetProcessInformation() using my app's signature I'm unable
to find my app's process. Of course, I know I can find my app's process by
calling GetCurrentProcess(), but the other method should work, too, shouldn't
it?

Yup it should.

Dodgy plist maybe? If you post it maybe someone will see what;s wrong with it. You can also use http://developer.apple.com/documentation/MacOSX/Conceptual/ BPRuntimeConfig/Concepts/PListKeys.html to check that you are supplying the right kind of value for the various keys in your plist.
