GetThemeMetric and mini buttons

I've just found that GetThemeMetric is returning 16 as the height of a mini pushbutton, which doesn't seem right (and doesn't yield the proper mini appearance). A mini button in Interface Builder is 14 pixels tall. On the other hand, IB and GTM agree on small and regular button heights.

Is this a known bug, or could I be doing something wrong?
