Is the target MachO and linked to the current system frameworks? In other words, always links to the frameworks in /System and not the frameworks in /Developer/SDK?
If the answer to both is yes, then you should know that application linked under 10.4 to 10.4 libraries may have a different behavior than one linked to the 10.3 libraries.
I don't recall every area that will have a different behavior. I think window compositing is different somehow...
Anyways, checking out the notes for the relevant APIs for what changed in 10.4 may help.
