Hi. I'm trying to get the font metrics (ascent, descent, etc) from a
given font.
I'm trying to use the newer API's if possible.
The function ATSFontGetVerticalMetrics would appear to be what I'd want.
But nowhere is there a place to specify the size of the font for the
metrics I want.
When I call ATSFontGetVerticalMetrics, all fields are set to zero
except the underlinePosition and underlineThickness.
I realize the Font Manager function FetchFontInfo will return the
information I need. But it only returns integer values. I'm hoping to
get floating point or fixed point values if possible.
Any help in getting this information would be appreciated...
