If you're using the MLTE view, there's the kTXNNoUserIOTag with
kTXNReadOnly or kTXNReadWrite which you set with
TXNSetTXNObjectControls().

Setting kControlEditTextLockedTag prevents editing, but also seems to
prevent selecting and copying.
