I just have one recommendation: increase your mind reading
abilities. Then all should be well.
Everyone knows that Apple is a level 500 raid boss and Mind Control
is capped at level 62 mobs.
Now when I said that the change wasn't part of the original deal, it
was to answer a question, not to start an argument. Fact is, I bet a
lot of small developers wouldn't have gotten the DTK even if this
information was out there simply because of cost concerns - that was
the reason I didn't get one. Additionally, it isn't as if there is
precedent for things like this - Apple charged for Public Beta and
then when 10.0 was released gave all of the Public Beta participants
a coupon that refunded the cost of the beta.
Personally, I'm just happy for those that bought the DTK are getting
something other than a $999 hole in their wallet. I don't
particularly care if they are a big corp that bought 20 of them or a
little guy that bought 1. They are getting something for their money,
which at the beginning of the whole thing it didn't look like you
would get anything tangible for your investment (just the intangible
of being universal on day 1).
