You mean if the apps provide their own { 'wind', 1 } constant?
If they just use kHIViewWindowContentID, I believe the constant
value is not compiled into the code, it is taken from the carbon
framework. So, theoretically speaking, if you change it to
'foo '/12345 and recompile all the system code, a third party app
that uses kHIViewWindowContentID constant should still work
without noticing anything. Unless it for some reason uses its
own constant equal to { 'wind', 1 }.
