Thanks for that. Your code does exactly what I want. The only
problem I had with it is that when the MyActionWithValue routine is
called, the clipped region is preventing display of my text control
so I had to save the clip region, unclip, draw and then restore the
clip region. Worked fine after that.
Apple developers take note. Hopefully "Lion" or before will
implement Mike's code!
Did you file a bug? I don't have Mike original message and I don't
recall the context for what you wanted here.
