CodeWarrior 9.6.
These were all CW files, in that they were all created on OS9 by CodeWarrior
7, and have 'CWIE' as the creator, and TEXT as the file type.
I have been working with these files on OS X also (using CW 9.6), for
several months, and did not see this happening.
Now, a bunch of these files that I recently edited, have a blank creator,
and are therefore showing up as XCode files (by default).
I'm just wondering what could have changed that is causing these files to
lose their creator when they are being edited. It may be that it's not OSX,
but something happening when I go back to OS 9 recently. (I move back and
forth between the two, and edit on both of them). Because I just
specifically edited a file in OSX and saved it, and it didn't change (this
time). Weird... I'll have to analyze it more, I guess.
