I've got a view's whose sole purpose is to resize/move a window assigned to it so that the window appears in place of the view. When the view is resized, the window is (live) resized too.

This works great for windows that contain views (and as such, composited). But for windows whose content I haven't converted to views yet, the content isn't redrawn until the manual resize is finished. Live resizing works just fine on the windows themselves, just not while they're being resized due to me calling SetWindowBounds() while a view is being resized.

I was hoping to avoid having to rewrite all of my windows content as views. Is there any way to get a window to redraw immediately after SetWindowBounds?
