I am trying to hook into an EditText Control (Unicode) -- actually, in this

I would like to get a notification each time the text field changes (either
due to typing/cut/paste/clicking on the little (x), etc.).

I have already hooked into the kControlEditTextKeyFilterTag, but this
doesn't handle all the cases, and it occurs before the field is updated.

kEventClassTextField / kEventTextDidChange on 10.4 and later. If you need to support earlier OSes, there is no simple solution.
