Re: could anyone tell me internal structure of resource fork

Hi All

just tell me that the description given on this page is authenticated or not.

Actually i want to be sure that this one is the latest internal format of resource fork.

It's also quiet possible that Apple made changes (Internal Structure of resource fork) in last few years and didnt update their site about the resource fork just bcoz nowadays no one concern about resource fork.

Ah, yes. We did that for a while, hid things in-between the resource
map for registration protection back in Mac OS 9. This system worked
nicely but had some caveats such as all our data being wiped out when
the resource fork was opened by a standard resource API using tool
(only our data was removed). However, for OS X this wasn't worth
pursuing due to the permissions issues with resource forks. Namely
that they weren't guaranteed. Also, the entire resource fork in the
data fork thing really messed that method up.
