I have two questions.

one: is it possible to monitor th eevents being sent to other applications?

Sorry... I hit the wrong button.

If you have the scripting support for assistive devices turned on, then you can ask an application to perform tasks like simulate a click on a button.

In contrast to Windows where it is possible to monitor windows messages in other applications, on the Mac you are only allowed to do as much as the application in question will let you.

Perhaps you would get better information if you tell us what effect you are trying to accomplish.
