Hi All,

(MacOS X 10.4.6 on Mac Intel Core Duo).

I've experienced "EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION" exception calling
CFPreferencesCopyValue(...) API function.

Most often, this means that you've over-released a CF object that you've previously obtained from your prefs, and a subsequent call to get the same object is now crashing. You'll need to figure out where you are over-releasing an object.
