HTML Controls - not just for URLs

Hi List,

I'm having a little trouble sifting through the docs about this, hopefully someone else has some clues:

I'm porting an app that spits out HTML formatted text, which I used to be able to display (in java on a regular text label, and in m$ on a webbrowser component) - and I want to be able to do the same with carbon.

Reading through the docs / googling I find that I need to use Cocoa to get a web-browser control working, ok fine add another (possibly many) hours for that little bit of learning curve, but most importantly, I can't see an easy way of simply stuffing HTML into the control, with other web-browser components it was a hassle until 2005, when I could finally set the DocumentHTML property with a string.

So, has anyone on the list got some handy hints for doing this? I want a control that displays the contents of its "text" property as HTML formatted.
