Bonjour - Avoiding XSan Metadata network

Folks.

My app advertises itself using Bonjour.

However, often its used in an XSan Environment which has 2 parallel Ethernet networks (one for data, one for metadata). In a seemingly random situation, it sometimes decides to register my Bonjour service on the metadata network and sometimes on the main network.

How can I control this ? Can I force it to only use the network which is first in the list in Network system prefs ? Any other way to control where its registered ?

The network ordering in system prefs would be the best way for the user to indicate which network to use for this service.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Mark Gilbert
