There's always debugging via printf (or CFShow) if you have no other alternatives.

Yup, doesn't work on either CW or Xcode. Though I would be happy to just get a useable stack trace out of gdb.

As mentioned before it's a CFM app, probably that's why it doesn't work for me.

It's just unsatisfying to tell my customers the bug wont get fixed
until I switch to Mach-O and Xcode or even to UB.

Being a humble shareware programmer it might take me a couple of
months until I find the time for the migration(s)..
