The ADC lepoard dev note on 64bit OS and XCode says it fully supports Intel chips.
Will the 64bit G5 be fully supported as well?
This is out of curiosity.

Also, the dev overview seems to imply carbon is 64bit. Is this true?

For the record, Leopard is still under nondisclosure to ADC members only, except for the information available to the public on www.apple.com/macosx, so specific questions about Leopard can't be answered in this public forum.  However, Tiger shipped with 64-bit capabilities for a limited set of software: see http://developer.apple.com/macosx/64bit.html for more information.  The 64-bit functionality in Mac OS X applies to both PowerPC and Intel platforms.

Noted. I'm not a lawyer (thankfully). Wasn't sure.

As for Carbon, well, don't let's start that again.

I don''t want that started again. I read it all.
