I've been longing for tools like Valgrind or Purify on the Mac for a long time..
Maybe Apple can spare an OS engineer for a few weeks to take a look at Valgrind,
it's probably not too hard porting it to OS X now that we're running on Intel, too?
(Valgrind is an Open Source tool designed to run on Linux x86)
