We have a Photoshop plug-in for CS3 (ie Intel native). The UI is
accomplished in Flash and we are currently displaying it with webkit.
The problem is that the Safari 3 beta webkit is interfering with
the mouse events and making the UI unusable.
What is our best tactic here, especially if this problem remains in
the official Safari 3 release? Ideally I'd like to just jettison
webkit and display the Flash UI through direct interaction with the
Flash player plug-in (or Quicktime?) but, after googling, I have no
idea how to do this.
Any opinions would be appreciated.
You're a daring person. Somebody just got "expelled" from this list
for asking this question ;-)
