Not likely. The parts that are 64-bit will be that way because Cocoa
applications will have uses for them.
FWIW, I think might have misread what he was saying myself. At some
point they may drop support for 32-bit within the OS, but I think
that's a long way off. Even most Cocoa applications will continue to
be 32-bit for the foreseeable future, as 64-bit isn't always a net
performance gain. I think other issues I've mentioned will wither
Carbon before drops 32-support from Mac OS X. Only time will tell,
though.
