I've got a customer for whom my app blocks indefinitely when trying
to save onto a smb volume (if he saves onto an internal drive its
fine). According to the sample from Activity monitor the program is
wedged inside prwite, inside FSWriteFork.
The device is some sort of NAS box accessed over smb. I've tried to
replicate the issue by accessing one of my other machine over smb but
this doesn't cause the problem the user is experiencing.
Are there any particular gotchas about writing to an smb volume that
I should be aware of ?
