I found documentation for adding pdf flavors to the pasteboard
(Working with PICT Data on the Clipboard) when researching for a
way to replace our ancient code that adds a PICT to the scrap. We
also use the same underlying routine for create a PICT to supply as
an image format in a drag, should the user drag our objects to some
other app that might want to accept an image. Would this same
method work for adding pdf to the drag? if so, what is the flavor
constant and what type of data should be added?
Nevermind, I found it. NewDragWithPasteboard doesn't have an entry in
Xcode's documentation, but I eventually found an example that made
reference to it, "Using the Pasteboard in Drag-And-Drop
Operations" (who capitalized "And" and why haven't they been slapped?).
