There's obviously some kind of deadlock here in CoreUI, or else the

I understand CoreUI is a private Apple framework intended to replace
HITheme. Is that correct?
CoreUI is a private framework, but it's not intended to replace
HITheme. It's solely for our internal implementation use.
Does Apple intend to make this framework public in 10.6 or sooner?
I don't believe so.
I'm still looking for a 64bits HITheme but if CoreUI provides same
functionnalities and is available in 64bits, I'll be happy to adopt
this new framework!
The HITheme API is available in 64-bit HIToolbox.
