Re: Preventing sleep, UpdateSystemActivity(), and 64 bit

UpdateSystemActivity() is still in 64-bit. The headers don't start if def'ing stuff out til exactly below UpdateSystemActivity(). UpdateSystemActivity() is the last function before the 32-bit only stuff starts.

Is it a bug or feature that UpdateSystemActivity() (from CoreService's
Power.h) is not available in 64 bit?

Suspiciously, QA1160 has disappeared from its old home:
<http://developer.apple.com/qa/qa2004/qa1160.html>

It described the Apple-sanctioned way to prevent sleep (call
UpdateSystemActivity()). It still works in my 32 bit app, but in 64 bit
it won't link because the function prototype is #if'ed out. However,
the function is not marked deprecated.
