Re: Preventing sleep, UpdateSystemActivity(), and 64 bit



Blah, missed this part.

There's a lot of good reasons to call UpdateSystemActivity() Such as when a multimedia playback app is in fullscreen mode. Now, if the Flash plugin would just call it so the screen doesn't dim while watching http://www.adultswim.com/video/?episodeID=8a25c3921661a6b5011662ccd3a20078 in full screen mode. Annoying to have to move the mouse every so often.

On a similar note, is it the responsibility of a QuickTime plugin to call UpdateSystemActivity() while not in fullscreen mode or the responsibility of the host application?
