Re: LowLevel Mouse and Keyboard Events

We can probably help you better if you give a higher-level description of what you are trying to do.
The low-level design of Windows and Mac isn't  the same, and while you probably won't find an equivalent to mouse hooks on Mac OS, if we knew what your app needs to do, we can probably find a way to do it.

Guys,

I am experiencing difficulties in coding Carbon event handlers.
My goal is to intercept a mouse/keyboard event and prevent it from happening across all processes.
Yet, the GetEventMonitorTarget() just dupicates the event, the original one is also sent to the process.
It is sort of like Windows' LowLevel Mouse Hook, but I just could not find a proper method to do that?
Any ideas?

Thanks,
-Hao
