Re: aren't sheets semi-transparent?

I was going to ignore this thread, but find that I can't:

We have been told many times that we should reduce visual clutter in our UI
designs. To that end, we are told to avoid group boxes in favor of simply
using space to separate groups of dialog items, or to use simple divider
lines.

So then Apple invents transparent menus and sheets! Talk about visual
clutter! Have you ever popped up a transparent menu over a window
containing lots of text? And a Save File sheet is pretty much guaranteed to
lie over a window with lots of content showing through, adding visual
clutter.

I say, take your opaque sheet and count your blessings!

Sorry. Thank you for listening, it feels good to get that off my chest.
