Carbon Event Double Clicks

Here's a silly question. I was going over the code to dim3's Map Editor, and noticed that I still manually check for double-clicks (i.e., last tick I clicked version GetDblTime (?? think that's the routine.)) Anyway, I do this because the codebase was originally 9-based.

I wondered if I could replace some of that code, so I looked through the carbon headers, and for window based events, there seems to be only a regular clickcontent. Is there some mysterious thing I'm missing?
