Re: FullScreen (and a new fullscreen question)

Hi.

The function BeginFullScreen() gets two parameters from you,
DesiredWidth, and DesiredHeight.

If these are small enough to be contained in smaller monitor resolution
than the current, the function
will switch the resolution for you. If, for example, you are in 1024x768
currently, and you ask BeginFullScreen with DesiredWidth 512, and
DesiredHeight 384, the function will most likely change resolution to
640x480 (provided that resolotion is supported by your monitor and video
card).

For me it works fine on 10.2.0, 10.2.2, 10.2.3, 9.2.2 and 9.2.1.

However --- I have my own question about FullScreen.

Supposedly I don't want the BeginFullScreen to create a new window for me,
because I have a window full of controls and content, and i do not wish
to rebuild it),
Instead I want to resize my original window to fit the new "FullScreen"
mode. How do I know the right size?
How do I size a window so that its contents region covers the whole
monitor? How do i hide everything but the contents of the window?
