I thought you weren't using RNE? My RAEL loop works fine. As Eric describes, the problem happens in a SUB-loop (running RNE) of the main event loop.

rawKeyDown from RNE sub-loop of main event loop == bad

Only difference: my main loop is RAEL, but he had believed it to be a WNE-only problem. Anyhow, since you're not calling RNE, you shouldn't have the problem.
