anti-aliased text in older controls

Are we going to see the List control or Edit text controls enhanced to use anti-aliased text when they draw? Or am I missing something and there's already a way to make them do so?

These two controls, while legacy controls, are still very prevalent and cause carbon apps that use them to look, less than optimal.

Otherwise, for the list control, I can pop in my own defproc easily enough to do the drawing, but not so with a Text edit control.
