No, not at all. The Radar bug number is #2828450; it is classified as "Serious Bug" and has been fixed in CoreGraphics in December 2001, for the next major release. (Getting bug fixes approved for a Software Update is another matter).


Well I stand corrected, and my faith has been restored. I will quit beating myself over the head looking for a fix. I will also think twice next time I feel like dissing Apple. Bravo!


Please, DO fix it in your code as well. If you are not properly 16-bit aligned (which you aren't) then you are going to be losing some speed on G4s.

(correct me if I am wrong..)
