Hi,
I'm having problems getting a reliable kioACUserNoMakeChangesMask indication
from FSGetCatalogInfo.
When I check my access rights to /System/Library/Perl/darwin/Socket.pm,
kioACUserNoMakeChangesMask is correctly set. However, when I check
/Library/Perl/Net/FTP.pm (installed by CPAN with sudo), I don't get the
kioACUserNoMakeChangesMask mask set even though if I later try to write to
this file, I am denied access.
% ls -al /Library/Perl/Net/FTP.pm
-r--r--r-- 1 root admin 40967 Sep 23 2002 FTP.pm
My account is in the admin group, but as the ls command shows I still only
have read access to the file. What do I have to do to get FSGetCatalogInfo
to return correct info?
I'm running 10.2.6.
