I would have thought so, but apparently you have to track it and save that
information yourself. Thank goodness for CFPreferences. ;-);

I'm saving and restoring myself now, but I don't really have document
windows where it would make sense to restore the toolbar state on a
window-by-window basis. It's not a big deal, I just wanted to know if
perhaps I was doing something wrong which was interfering with some toolbar
automagic, but apparently not.
