Thanks for the tip. I'll try to see if this solution can fit my needs.

Well yeah, my idea is to switch to OS X development in the future, but for
the time being I don't have availability of a Mac with OS X (not one that
can run it anyway). Whatever I do with carbon shouldn't be too hard to port
to OS X from what I've read, so it's not a big problem anyway.

When I get the chance of running OS X I will surely try to port my current
project to it.
