I'm converting a preferences dialog into an IB window. The main window
contains a tab control, Save, Cancel, and Use Defaults buttons. Each tab
pane's contents are embedded in a user pane in its own IB window.

The first time I need to load a tab, I hide any current pane, create the
appropriate window, embed the user pane with HIViewAddSubview(), and dispose
of the window. Everything works as expected except that nothing inside the
tab panes responds to clicks. Keystrokes go to the Edit Unicode Text control
fine. The tab control and the three buttons work fine. The standard handler
is installed. What am I missing? Thanks!
