Past printing

Hello

I am working on java project in which printing is handled in native code.
Native code is developed using carbon API. java code sends pixel data with
alpha included.
native code copeis pixels in gworld then dump this gworld to printer port.
But it takes too much time.
PMSessionPageNoDialog() and PMSessionEndDocument() consume lot of time, why?

Does anybody has idea to make efficient printing on Mac OS X, since on
Windows it really good.
