I much prefer a clean install to an update. Too often I've traced a bug back
to a file that wasn't properly "updated". When I install beta code I prefer
to debug it, not it's installer. ;-)

I rename the new "/Users" directory to "/Users_org" and then symlink to a
data-only (no systems) disk:

geowar> mv /Users /Users_org
geowar> ln -s /Users /Volumes/GeoWar_60GBa/Users
