DataBrowser: ColumnView

Is there any way not to scroll to right in Column view style of DataBrowser?

DataBrowser scrolls to right when you click item in rightmost column, but I don't want it to do that.

So far I've used 2 lists on a window. It gets user to click left list at first so the items related what they click item on the left list appear on the right list. Then get them to choose a final from the right list.
From this look-and-feel, column view style looks like that. And I decided to use the style instead of list view style.

If I can't get any way to avoid from auto-scrolling to right or if this design is so weird that I should change, I'm glad to change the design, getting to use list view style or 2 one-column list views as it was.

Could you give me any advice, please?
