In my Text Editor application when I tried to enter the ligature character 0xEA (option Key+"e"+ Shift+"i") ,the character is getting drawn out side the clip region. So the diacritic marks are missing. I have found this problem on OS 10.2.6 with two fonts (Helvetica type1 postscript & Warnock Pro Open Type font ).Other application like Text Edit and Jedit has also same problem. On panther the problem is with Warnock Pro only while in case of Helvetica it works fine. Is it problem of OS or font ? we are using the font metrics returned by GetFontInfo to calculate clip region and using System APIs to draw text.Pls. give suggestions.

I verified that Helvetica and Warnock Pro are clipped properly on Mac OS 9.2 with Adobe Type Manager. Paresh, if you log a bug report against QuickDraw, we can investigate whether we can fix this problem in the PostScript font rendering support for Mac OS X.
