This looks like one of the fonts from Adobe, which typically shipped with extra 'FOND' resources for each stylistic variant in a typeface family. It was done for compatibility with Adobe Type Reunion and also let users pick a font without worrying that the operating system was generating it synthetically. Lucida Grande does not include the extra 'FOND' resources, so users need to use the Style menu in addition to the Font menu in QuickDraw-based applications to access all the fonts.
