Sudhir,
It could be becuase Darwin is BSD based and this ipcs command is a system V
command.

You should probably read some of Apple's Darwin documentation first!

Your question is probably also more appropriate for a Darwin list; this list
is for Carbon developers. Apple run some Darwin mailing lists.
